Susette Naylor Bio
Susette Naylor's resume reflects a varied and diverse background - her academic degrees are in Anthropology and East Asian Studies and a Master in Architecture as well as a work history which spans a variety of roles including Director of an educational project at Stanford and U.C. Berkeley to designing residential and institutional projects in Namibia, Africa.
This background has served to inform her work in her current position as partner in Thompson-Naylor Architects. Extracurricular activities include having served as Human Services Commissioner for Santa Barbara County, service as a member of the Montecito Architectural Review Committee and on the Guidelines subcommittee, and current service on the Historic Landmarks Commission for the City of Santa Barbara and the Process Improvement effort for the Planning and Development Department at the County of Santa Barbara.
